The Graduate Academy philGRAD supports and promotes doctoral students and postdocs of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities through structured frameworks and with demand-oriented counseling and workshop and coaching offers. One of the main focuses of philGRAD is the promotion of individual career development and preparation for the academic as well as non-academic job market. But also in case of conflicts or (acute) mental crises during the qualification philGRAD is the contact person for PhD students, postdocs as well as for supervisors.

The Heine Center for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (HeiCAD) is a central scientific institution of the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf (HHU). Its tasks are to bundle all activities in the field of Artificial Intelligence at HHU, to strengthen and communicate them internally and externally, and to network staff members across faculties in research and teaching. In addition, the HeiCAD is building a continuing education program that will enable all students and staff at HHU to further their education in the field of AI and data science according to their specific needs ("AI for All").

iGRAD - Interdisciplinary Graduate and Research Academy Düsseldorf - was founded in 2008 as an interdisciplinary institution of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. iGRAD's continuing education, advising and service offerings specifically support the qualification of the faculty's young scientists and are aimed at all doctoral students, postdocs, their supervisors and mentors, as well as the affiliated doctoral programs and research networks.

JUNO is a central operating unit of HHU, through which interdisciplinary qualification and continuing education programs for postdocs and junior research group leaders are offered. JUNO supports the early scientific independence of junior researchers. At the same time, JUNO is the central point of contact and advice for international doctoral candidates, postdocs and visiting scientists at HHU and looks after them as part of the Welcome Service for international scientists.

The Medical Research School Düsseldorf (medRSD) of the Medical Faculty of the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf was founded to promote young scientists in medicine. The task of medRSD is to accompany doctoral candidates during their doctoral work with structured framework conditions and to support them in their doctoral project and in the planning of a scientific career through a variety of offers.
