2. Information on the personal data processed and the purposes of data use

2.1. Information on the personal data processed via the App
As part of the use of the ‘HHU Onboarding App’ your personal data is collected and processed by the service provider Konzept-iX for the following purposes:

• Serial number (IMEI) the mobile devices of app users (automatically anonymised) for statistical analysis

This information is processed by the service provider , which does not store the IP address but provides anonymous statistics to HHU so that the app can be improved during operation. 

3. Legal basis and purposes of processing
The legal basis for processing the data referred to in 2 is in accordance with Art. 6 paragraph 1 lit. e DSGVO in combination with §58 HG.

4. Legal basis for the transfer of personal data to third parties
We do not transfer your personal data, which is processed by Heinrich Heine University for the purposes specified in section 2, to third parties. Konzept-iX GmbH supports us in providing our services. This cooperation is based on a contract in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR..

5. Dauer der Verarbeitung/Datenlöschung
The data from 2 will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected, usually on an annual basis.

6. Your rights as an affected party
As a person affected, you can assert your rights under the EU GDPR at any time:
• the right to obtain information about whether and which of your data is being processed (Art. 15 EU GDPR). The restrictions under Section 12 of the DSG NRW apply;
• the right to request the correction or completion of data concerning you (Art. 16 EU GDPR);
• the right to erasure of data concerning you in accordance with Art. 17 EU GDPR. The restrictions under Section 10 of the North Rhine-Westphalian Data Protection Act (DSG NRW) apply;
• the right to request a restriction on the processing of data in accordance with Art. 18 EU GDPR;
• the right to withdraw consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until withdrawal (Art. 7(3) GDPR);
